Dear Neighbors,
It has been an honor serving you as your Milwaukee County Supervisor for the 4th District. Since taking office, I have provided you with Active, Honest Representation. I have a strong record of delivering results for our neighborhood on the issues that matter. Proven results can be found on the platform link of my website.
As you can read below, this is more than a campiagn slogan, rather it is a reflection of the job I have done for you and will continue to provide when I am re-elected. Experience and a strong record count. I ask for your vote on April 1, 2008 so that we may continue to work together to improve our neighborhood and quality of life here in Milwaukee County.
Active
Supervisor Dimitrijevic is known for her commitment to community involvement. She is an active member in over 30 civic organizations in her district and has held over 50 townhall meetings to meet directly with her neighbors since being elected to office in 2004.
Honest
Supervisor Dimitrijevic has worked to adopt an honest budget each year that is both fiscally and socially responsible. She has fought to improve the quality of life in Milwaukee County by protecting our parks and promoting our transit system. She has provided honest and responsive answers to make government work for you.
Representation
Supervisor Dimitrijevic has fought energetically on legislative issues that help the community she was born and raised in and now represents. Her legislative agenda has been focused on supporting the needs of working families, adopting higher energy and environmental standards in Milwaukee County, and securing affordable, quality housing for persons with mental illnesses. She has had legislative victories in the areas of responsible economic development, rehabilitative incarceration programs, and environmental protection, which was adopted as Milwaukee County's Greenprint.

'I sponsored the Milwaukee County Greenprint Legislation which saves taxpayer money by making Milwaukee County more energy efficient, reduces waste, and enforces smarter decisions. With my legislation, it is no longer business as usual at Milwaukee County. We are now a better environmental citizen and focused on sustainability.' |
